Hello All, We have some good news, and some bad news. The bad news is we have decided to postpone the 13th Annual Midwest Taikai to August 6th, 7th, and 8th of 2021. We have weighed a lot of variables in coming to this decision, but the short story is that we would not be able to put on a safe event that all interested parties would feasibly be able to attend given the current trends in quarantine guidelines following travel, Minnesota Department of Health guidelines on social gatherings in hotel venues, and trends in active versus total cases. In the end, 6 weeks simply will not be enough time for these trends to adequately change course, especially since there will be some folks in attendance that are higher risk. The good news is the venue has been more than generous with the rescheduling of the event, and they are already writing an addendum for the contract. Also, we plan to freeze the current cost of attendance until June of next year. This will allow us to remain fair to those that have already registered early on, while still giving the option for some cost savings to those that have not yet registered. If anyone that has already registered is currently experiencing financial hardship and would like a refund because of said hardship, please reach out to us directly before we submit the signed addendum on 7/1/2020. Finally, continue to reach out with any concerns, or questions. Stay healthy and stay safe, The Warfields Dojo Email:
